The Hard Truth About Progress

At CKMA, we believe in telling it like it is. We don’t sugarcoat the process, and we certainly don’t babysit. We believe that true progress only comes when you face the truth about your abilities and put in the work to change them. Our Kyokushin Karate training is designed for real results.

Real results require sweat, frustration, and the will to keep going when things get tough. We aren't a big commercial factory where belts are mass-produced to keep customers happy. Here, a belt isn't a product you buy; it’s a standard you meet. If you are wearing a belt in our dojo, everyone knows you earned it.

For Parents and Adults

For parents, if you want your child to learn genuine discipline and respect, they need to be challenged. We provide the structure for that growth.

For adults, if you are serious about self-defense or high-intensity fitness, you need authentic full-contact training—not just light cardio.

As a 5th Dan Shihan and Branch Chief for WKB Canada, he isn't just walking through the motions. He is dedicated to helping every single student become the absolute best version of themselves. But he can’t do the work for you.

You are also guided by Senpai Mici Fogarasi, a dedicated 2nd Dan Black Belt and co-founder who brings 19 years of training and a strong focus on student success.

They are here to guide you, push you, and correct you—sometimes strictly—because we care about your potential. This level of expert instruction guarantees you are getting the highest quality martial arts education available.
