Celebrating Our 2025 Summer Grading
What an amazing day! The Mississauga Dojo recently hosted our 2025 Summer Grading for Ranks and Belts, and it was a huge success. We had a fantastic turnout with 45 participants from three dojos. Out of that group, 32 students successfully graded for new ranks and belts, and two incredible students achieved their black belts.
A Day of Spirit and Effort
The grading was a marathon of spirit and effort, with everyone from ages 7 to over 50 working for more than 3.5 hours. The physical test included pushups, stomach pulls, and squats, really putting everyone's endurance to the test. After that, they showcased their kihon basics and kata, and finished strong with kumite at the end.
The overall level was good, and all the participants worked very hard to show off their knowledge and skills.
Thank You to Our Supportive Senpais
A big thank you to the senpais who helped with the examination process: Senpai Ehsan and Senpai Kiu from North York Kyokushin Dojo, and Senpai Mici and Senpai Demian from CKMA Dojo.
Embracing a New Responsibility: Branch Chief for WKB in Ontario
I am very honored to officially receive the Branch Chief certificate for WKB in Ontario, Canada. I accept this new role with great pride and commitment. I want to thank Kancho Pedro Roiz and Shihan Daniel Sanchez for trusting me. Their support means a lot to me, and I promise to work hard to maintain the values and high standards of our organization. As I start this journey, I look forward to making a positive impact and helping our community grow.

Congratulations to Our New Black Belts!
A big congratulations to Senpai Chris and Senpai Kiki for getting their black belts! Their hard work and commitment have helped them reach this important level, and we are happy to welcome them as new Yudansha in our dojo and group. Their progress will surely raise the skill and experience level in our community. Great job, Senpai Chris and Senpai Kiki!

Looking Ahead
Reaching a new rank is a great accomplishment, but it's just one step on a longer journey. The real challenge—and the real growth—comes from what we do next. Let's not lose the powerful spirit we showed at the grading. We'll keep training hard and pushing ourselves, ready for the new challenges ahead. The path to our next goal starts now.
