The Benefits of Jiu-jitsu Training

Jiu-jitsu, like all traditional martial arts can offer multiple benefits. 

 

- It will teach you to work hard ! Nothing comes easy or free - you must put in the effort and energy to improve.

- You need to face your fears ! Like any physical activity , the fear of getting hurt is always there. One must persevere and show determination.

- It will teach you to be humble ! As a beginner white belt , you will be submitted many times, so taping is important ! This will lead to a humble and respectful atitude.

- It will make you mentaly and physicaly strong ! Overcoming your fears and physical limitations will create in the end a tough mind in a strong body !

- Self Defense ! Being able to submit your attacker in a dangerous situation is one of the best thing to do ! You will learn this in jiu-jitsu !

- Weight loss and fitness ! You will lose weight and get fit in a matter of 2-3 months with  a minimum of 3 classes a week !
